Aerospace and automotive are two major industries that have drastically evolved over the last few decades and will continue to evolve at a rapid rate. Transportation is changing. Digital disruption will transform these industries. There is growing need for talent with skills in robotics, AI, cybersecurity, materials, and many other technical areas to accelerate innovation in a global economy.

The aerospace industry serves two main markets 1) Commercial, which largely comprises the production, sale, and service of commercial aircraft, and 2) Defense, which is dependent on the nation’s need for military weapons and systems designed to operate on land, sea, and in the air. The automotive industry comprises a wide range of companies and organizations involved in the design, development, manufacturing, marketing, and selling of motor vehicles.

The Aerospace & Automotive Community is designed to keep students informed about relevant industry news and connect them with related opportunities.
