About the role Kadre Labs is hiring an Agentic AI Developer to design and build the systems behind our products — autonomous and semi-autonomous AI agents that do real work. [Assumed: agentic/LLM-based product engineering.] You’ll be writing the code that turns models into reliable, production-grade tools, and you’ll have a lot of room to shape how we build.

What you’ll do

  • Design, build, and ship agentic AI systems — multi-step agents, tool use, orchestration, and retrieval pipelines.
  • Integrate LLM APIs into robust, production-ready applications.
  • Build and tune RAG pipelines, prompt systems, and evaluation/guardrail layers.
  • Own features end to end — from prototype to deployment — in a fast iteration loop.
  • Collaborate with the forward-deployed team to harden solutions for real client environments.

Required skills

  • Strong programming fundamentals, ideally in Python.
  • Hands-on experience with LLM APIs (e.g., Claude, OpenAI) and prompt engineering.
  • Familiarity with agentic frameworks and orchestration (e.g., LangChain, n8n, or similar) and RAG / vector databases (e.g., Qdrant, Pinecone).
  • Comfort with APIs, version control (Git), and deploying real software.

Nice to have

  • Experience with MCP, Docker, FastAPI, or workflow automation.
  • Background building eval/observability for AI systems.
  • Open-source or side projects involving agents or LLM tooling.

Why Kadre Labs

You’ll be early — and early matters. This is a fast-moving startup at the edge of the AI transformation, not a place where you’ll wait three years for real responsibility. You’ll ship things that reach customers in weeks, see the impact, and have your fingerprints on how the company gets built. The ambiguity is the opportunity.

Real customers, real stakes, real outcomes. You won’t be building demos for a drawer. You’ll work directly with companies going through their own AI and digital transformation — solving problems that matter to their business and watching the value you create land. Few roles this early in a career put you that close to the outcome.

You’ll work at the frontier, with the best tools. We build with the newest AI tooling the moment it ships, and you’ll be expected to as well. You’ll come out of this fluent in the agentic-AI stack that most of the market is still trying to understand — a skill set that compounds fast.

We invest in you growing. Continuous learning is part of the job, not an afterthought. You’ll get assigned AI courses, certifications, and structured training, plus direct mentorship from a founder and team who’ve operated across AI, M&A, and enterprise technology. We’d rather over-invest in your growth and have you outgrow the role than the reverse.

Ownership over hierarchy. Small team, flat structure, high trust. You bring the ideas, we give you the room to run. The ceiling here is set by what you can do, not by your title or your start date.

Open to interns: We welcome internship candidates. Interns would build and ship a real agent or pipeline feature with senior mentorship.
